Recently, on a family day out, we took a short trip over to see Lochleven Castle (15th Century). This Castle, like Inchmahome Priory required taking a short ferry ride to visit. The loch was a bit choppy on this chilly day, but the sunshine and clear skies made up for it. We had a great time exploring another small treasure of Scottish culture. We played, had pretend battles, and a great picnic lunch. And to top the day off, Eli got to chase a grouse. He loved it. The grouse did not. Here are a few photos.
