Last week we enjoyed one of the few sunny days we have had in a while by getting out for a family hike. The day out gave us a chance to try out some of our Christmas presents while getting a bit of sun and exercise. We had a great time exploring the town of Culross, an old fishing and mining village that has largely preserved the way life in Scotland looked and felt in the 17th and 18th centuries. Because this time of year is the holiday season and the off-season for tourism, the entire town was eerily quiet. Here are a few photos.
