One of the things I love about living in a city like Glasgow is all of the constant mini-concerts and performances by street performers. It doesn’t seem to matter what time of day I walk the streets of the city centre, I usually encounter at least a couple of performers. What’s even more staggering is the diversity of the acts. There is everything from solo acts with a guitar and vocals, to small ensembles with lots of percussion. It’s not uncommon to come across bagpipe players, dancers and of course, living statue performers. All of this is just another reason I like living where I live. Here are a couple of photos of two street performers I passed this week.
