Opening Day at Fenway Park has come around again this year! D and I were excited that we were able to be there today to start the 2008 baseball season. The day started with me in line at Fenway at 7:40 this morning (for a 2:30 game). D and I met four of our friends whom we were excited to experience the game. This is definitely an event that I find a lot of fun experiencing with a group of people. Although it was quite warm outside as we waited in line, inside the park was a bit chilly, especially in the standing room only section (which happens to be our section). I ended up wearing four or five layers in order to stay warm and yet clearly display my Red Sox spirit. The above picture is several of us in front of the Ted Williams Statue.

Today was a special day at Fenway Park. The celebration from the Sox winning the World Series last fall continued with the official Ring Ceremony, where each member of the 2007 Red Sox received their World Series Ring. Here are a couple of my favorite moments…
Here is me finishing off my delicious “Fenway Frank!”

It was a tremendous day today!
