I must confess that for the last couple of months I have not been running. It seems like I haven’t been able to do much more than focus on finishing the fall semester and getting ready for the class I took during the first week of January. Between the holidays and all of the schoolwork I haven’t had a chance to run. It’s not like I’m never reminded that I should run. As I am out and about in any part of the city, all I have to do is look around and I see tons of people running. Actually, on the snowiest day we’ve seen so far, I saw a couple of people running. Crazy. In hopes of rectifying my lack of running, I went for a run today (yes, in the cold. The high here was 35). I plan on making this a regular practice throughout the rest of the winter and spring. Hopefully the end result will be that I generally feel better and have more energy. They say that it takes 21 days to make something a habit. A few months ago it was habit. Somehow I broke it. Well, 1 down, 20 more to go until it’s a habit once more.
