This past Sunday D and I took part in an activity that I have always been intrigued by. It is tradition for us to buy a live Christmas tree (well, semi-live) each Christmas. This year, instead of going to a local lot to pick out our tree, we went to a Christmas tree farm with some friends. It took us some time to pick out the perfect tree. you would think it would be easier to pick out a tree among many options, but in reality it made it more difficult to narrow it down. Once we chose the perfect tree, we cut it down, had it wrapped up in netting and loaded it on top of our car. It was funny to see our car with both our tree and our friends’ tree on top. Even funnier were the looks we got from people passing us on the way home. If I wasn’t already feeling like it, Sunday definitely put me in the Christmas spirit.
